Dr. Carl Broggi grew up in New England and has lived in the south for the past 35 years. He has received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Boston College, a master of theology from Dallas Seminary and a doctorate from the School of Theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Pastor Carl and his wife Audrey have five children and have been at Community Bible Church since 1990, when Carl was called to be the pastor.

Dr. Broggi's radio ministry, Search the Scriptures, can be heard locally on The Light 88.7FM WAGP, and on other affiliate stations throughout the east coast.

A native of Ohio, Larry has been in pastoral ministry since 1985. He and his wife Linda have been married since 1975 and have 3 grown sons, 2 daughters-in-law and 2 grandchildren. Pastor Bennett holds an M. Div. from Grace Theological Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry is from Trinity Bible College and Seminary.

Matt Leszczynski and his wife Abby both graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago with degrees in church music. Matt grew up in Lancaster, PA, and Bourbonnais, IL and then to Beaufort in 2003. Abby grew up in Lincoln, NE. They have five children, Elena, Clayton, Audra, Janae and Mitchell.

Psalm 126:3 says, "The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy!"

Ed became a Christian at the age of eight when he received Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized that same year. Raised in a Christian home, church attendance and missionary vision were a natural part of Ed’s life. At thirteen years of age, he surrendered his life to the Lord for missionary service. Upon graduation from Zanesville High School, he attended Baptist Bible College and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Theology in 1982, and a Master of Arts in Religion and Church Ministries in 2011. From 1983 to 1990 he worked as associate and youth pastor at Tabernacle Baptist Church, and as athletic director and teacher at Tabernacle Christian School in Litchfield N.H. After having spent 17 years as missionaries in Venezuela, God then led Ed and his family to Beaufort to care for aging parents and to serve as Spanish Pastor within Community Bible Church. In June of 2011, Ed joined the full-time staff at CBC as Pastor of Member Care and Assimilation and Spanish Ministries.

Rick has been on staff since 1997. He manages the church's radio station, WAGP FM. He is also responsible for CBC's various web sites, social media, and print publications.
He and his wife Deborah have been married since 1982...they both came to faith in Christ the following year.
Rick holds a B.A. in business from the University of South Carolina.

Claudia Assists the pastors with any administrative duties including scheduling appointments, coordinating schedules, and communicating to staff, members and visitors. As Administrator for Community Bible Church Christian Academy, she oversees the record keeping of the academy.

She and her husband William have been married since 1982. They have one grown son, Wesley. She and William have been members of CBC since 2000. Claudia has served as a volunteer in Awana, Youth Ministries and in Women's Ministries before coming on staff in February of 2010. Claudia received her BA from Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts.

Randy and Evelyn Owens are the Children’s Ministry Directors of Community Bible Church. Randy grew up in Walterboro, SC while Evelyn, though born in Baltimore, Maryland, grew up in Beaufort. They were married in 1979 and have 6 children. They have served the Lord together for most of their married life and both have helped in children’s ministries at a local Baptist Church for 10 years and now here at CBC since 1990. They became the Directors in August of 2003. Evelyn, who does have an elementary teaching degree and spent some time in a public school classroom, now spends her time home educating her school age children, and enjoys developing plans, curriculum and activities for the children of CBC. As Children’s Ministry Directors, Randy and Evelyn together coordinate all children’s events and ministries, including Sunday School, Awana, Kid’s Life, and special events such as Vacation Bible School and Kidfest so that as many people, children AND families, who wish to come and hear about the Lord Jesus may do so. Together they desire to provide opportunities for the children of this community to come and learn of the love and salvation that our Savior offers. They hope to minister to families by providing the very best programs for their children that will teach them of Christ and partner with parents to develop children into godly individuals who wish to serve the Lord with all their heart.
